Marianne was laid to rest on Friday, May 2nd, 2008.
Where is Marianne?
Marianne was last seen on September 23rd, 2005 at approximately 7 PM outside her home located in the 1900 block of Sagemore Drive in Marlton, NJ. When Marianne missed several planned appointments on Saturday, September 24th; her family and friends became concerned and on Sunday, September 25, 2005 she was reported as a missing person to the Evesham Police Department. Her car, a 2001 black Ford Mustang convertible was also missing.
Marianne is an extremely dedicated career woman in upper management of a large woman's fashion retailer; White House/Black Market, a division of Chico's.. She rarely misses a day of work for any reason. Marianne missed several appointments with her family on Saturday, September 24th and did not make her weekly conference call sessions on Monday, September 26th. She was also looking forward to a long- planned trip to Paris with her mother which was scheduled for Tuesday, September 27th.
The police investigation found that Marianne's purse including her credit cards, ATM cards, identification, cellular telephone, cigarettes and other personal items were left in her apartment. Her beloved dog Sophie was also left behind.
Those who know Marianne know she would never willingly abandon her family, friends, career, and her dog. Marianne's car was found on Thursday, September 29th, approximately 1.5 miles from her home behind a WaWa in Avian Plaza in Voorhees Township. It was dropped off there by persons unknown on September 26th and discovered on Thursday, September 29th.
On October 6th and 7th the Evesham Police Department in conjunction with several other Police Departments from the area conducted a large scale search of the area near Marianne's home in an attempt to locate her or any other information concerning her disappearance. The search did not reveal any new information.
Latest News on Marianne
On Wednesday, September 20th, 2006, the Burlington County Prosecutor's office held a press conference. The prosecutor's office released a video of Marianne's car being driven to the back lot of the Avian Plaza. The video can be viewed here. The prosecutor's press release can be read here. The proscecutor's office disclosed that they have a DNA sample of the man in the video. Sadly, they also disclosed that they found some of Marianne's blood in the trunk of her car. The police and prosecutors office are now asking for the public's help in identifying the man in the video. Please take a moment to review all of the videos posted in Latest News section. A single clue that you could provide will help to bring justice for Marianne.
These latest developments mark a milestone in our search for Marianne, not an end to it. We will never stop searching for Marianne until we find her; until justice is served for Marianne; and until we can give her the dignity that she deserves.
